These are my thoughts on Forgetting My Camera

Last weekend, Alissa and I set out on an adventure to St. George to kick off our Spring Break. Unfortunately, we both forgot our cameras. Seriously, what are the odds of that? We are pretty smart people though, so to make up for our oversight, we bought a disposable camera to take pictures on our weekend of excitement and relaxation (I'm not sure if you're supposed to put both those things into the same weekend, but we definitely did).

On our drive home, we realized that in order to see the pictures (or post them, or share them or basically do anything with them) we have to develop them. And I'll be honest with you, I don't really know how long it takes to develop actual film. It could be an hour, it could be three weeks (I am obviously hoping for the first).

After pondering this uncertain amount of time and options for transferring them to a digital format, Alissa asked the very relevant questions "How did people blog before digital cameras?" We came to the conclusion that, well, they didn't. It is simple too much of a hassle to be practical.

The moral of this blog is this: don't forget your camera when you go on vacation or it is going to take you a long time to be able to blog about all the adventures you had (this is, in fact, the reason I haven't documented this past weekend yet).

However, don't worry. My thoughts on St. George are coming soon.
