These are my thoughts about Blogging

I'll be honest.
I was really nervous about this first blog post. It's just not the sort of thing you want to mess up. So I blog-stalked just about everyone I know and came to two conclusions:

1) Most blogs (at least the ones about the people I know) began in 2007 or 2008. I'm aware that I'm a little behind.

2) There are at least 9 different ways to start a blog. In other words, every blog I looked at started differently (and now your probably wondering if I really only know 9 people, since I've already confessed to blog-stalking everyone I know. I exaggerate. A lot).

Back to my conclusions.

Thoughts about conclusion 1: I realize that it took my 3 years to join the blogging craze. I also know that there are people who even further behind than me. I won't beat myself up about it.

Thoughts about conclusion 2: After all my extensive research, I still feel very shaky about 'the first blog post.' It seems like a pretty critical element in the blogging world. My only hope is that if I do happen to fail at blog post number one, it will not equal failure at blogging in general.

The real reason I am so late to the blogging party is because most of the time, I am fairly certain I have nothing to say. I do, however, have several thoughts.

In my apartment, we use the words "These are my thoughts" at least 6 times a day. So I'm stealing that catchphrase and hoping to transition some of those thoughts into something to say.

These are my thoughts.
About the little things.
And the big things.
And all the things in between.
